Underwriting Process
Once the completed application is received, it is input into UBIC’s quote/rate system and assigned to an underwriter for review. It is then referred to the loss control department to schedule a telephonic or onsite pre-survey (please submit risks at least 30 days prior to effective date).
What is the procedure for AOR change request?
A written request made on the insured’s letterhead and signed by an officer/partner or sole proprietor must
be submitted to UBIC. In lieu of a letter the ACORD Agent/Broker of Record Change form is acceptable.
